Bella Cork Studio was born from a deeply personal journey of love, loss, and resilience.
After losing my mother to a brain tumour—a battle fought with remarkable courage after years of facing cancer—I found myself reflecting on the incredible strength of the women in my family. Generations of women who carried on, even through heartbreak. Even our beloved dog fought her own brave fight.
As women, we are often the silent pillars of our families and communities. We carry the weight of being wives, mothers, daughters, and professionals. We’re expected to stay strong even when we feel fragile. We push through, even when we’re breaking inside.
Bella Cork Studio is my tribute to that strength.
Every piece of jewellery is designed to tell a story: one of empowerment, resilience, and quiet beauty. Created by a woman who once struggled, for women who continue to rise.
Inspired by my Portuguese heritage, I chose cork not only for its natural elegance, but for what it represents: sustainability, renewal, and endurance. Cork trees are never cut down — they regenerate, growing stronger after each harvest. Just like us.
In my studio, crafting each pair of earrings becomes an act of healing and creativity — a space where textures, nature, and emotion meet.
